Illustrative exampleThe simulator in Nuclearn's lab also runs a simulated plant, and Equipment AI reads that plant's historian. Learn more →

Outcomes are from individual Nuclearn customers, each on one kind of work; customers are named only where they have announced their work with us. Illustrative examples use public, demo or synthetic data, as on each product's page.

New nuclear

Building a plant? Start with its corrective action program.

A new plant needs a corrective action program before it has the people to run it. Nuclearn runs your CAP as a managed service, under your license and QA program, on the Nuclearn platform, and the records stay yours.

A real session, on public drawings.

Nuclearn Link for P&IDs Join the sheets, then trace a clearance boundary across them. A real session in Nuclearn Link: one plant's P&IDs joined at their off-page connectors, a link checked side by side, and a valve's isolation boundary carried onto the next sheet, with the open end flagged. Drawings shown are publicly available P&IDs from the NRC's ADAMS library. The boundary is a starting point for the clearance writer, checked against the drawings. nuclearn.ai/products/link-for-pids →
The problem

Every job runs on the same documents.

Screening a condition report, writing a 50.59, building a work package and finding a replacement part all draw on the same procedures, past condition reports, the UFSAR, drawings and vendor manuals. A tool built for one of those jobs leaves your people stitching the rest together by hand, and the people who know where everything is are needed in five places at once.

Much of that work is reading. INL found that planning work, including searching out and compiling the right documents, is over 42% of what work management costs.1

Nuclearn reads across all of it on one platform and takes on the first draft, so your people spend their time on the decisions.

6,0001
condition reports per reactor unit, per year

INL's conservative estimate from several utilities' data. Each one is read, screened and coded.

$18.4M1
per reactor unit, per year, to run work management

INL's estimate of today's cost of its six phases, from screening a condition report to closing out the work, at $200 an hour, for online work.

INL's figures describe the industry in general, not results from Nuclearn products. Sources at the foot of the page.

What it takes

Start with a paid pilot on one job.

Teams working from uploaded documents are typically live in 2–4 weeks from contract. Connections to your systems of record follow your IT and cyber review, and Nuclearn plans that schedule with your IT contact before kickoff. Every product runs on the Nuclearn platform, with the same sign-in, roles and permissions.

Pick the first job

CAP screening, a 50.59, an engineering review, an outage schedule, a drawing set or a document search. The pilot runs on that one job, with the people who do it.

We set up your instance

Your plant gets its own single-tenant instance, hosted by Nuclearn in its own datacenter on its own hardware. Azure Government or your own servers on request.

Add the next product

The next product signs in the same way and uses the same roles, so it starts from the people and documents you already have.

The commercial model

  • An annual subscription for each product you choose. Subscribe only to the products you want.
  • Setup, support and upgrades are included, with new features and model improvements as they come.
  • Priced for your site.

What your plant provides

  • The documents for the first job, uploaded or connected from the systems they're in.
  • Sign-in through your identity provider, such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or Ping.
  • An IT contact for the setup, and the people who own the first job for the pilot.
Why Nuclearn

Built for nuclear, by people from nuclear.

Nuclearn's founders worked at a US nuclear plant, where their team built machine learning for plant operations and received NEI's Top Innovative Practice award in 2020. They started Nuclearn in 2021 to bring that work to other plants.

Our products start from the jobs plants already do, in the plant's own words and on its own documents.

FAQ

Questions plants ask first.

Will it make things up?

Answers and drafts point back to the page, passage or record they came from, so your people can check each one before they rely on it. Screeners, engineers and planners keep every decision. Nuclearn does the reading and the first draft.

Does it fit how our QA and licensing work?

Nuclearn products prepare screenings, evaluations and drafts for your people to review and approve under your own procedures, the way they would a colleague's work. The sources stay with each result. We'll walk your QA and licensing staff through how the product you start with fits your process.

Does it work with our document system?
